Delete your account in the Dearly Beloved app

The complete account deletion process is available directly inside the Dearly Beloved mobile application.

1. Open the Dearly Beloved app
2. Sign in to your account
3. Open the Account or Settings section
4. Select Delete Account
5. Confirm the deletion request

Once confirmed, your account and associated personal data will be permanently removed.

Managing and deleting your data

Dearly Beloved allows users to manage and remove their data directly within the app.

• Delete media – Users can remove photos or videos they have uploaded to a memorial or event.
• Delete memorials or events – Event or memorial owners can delete an entire space, which removes all associated media and messages.
• Delete account – Users can permanently delete their account and all associated data from the Settings section of the app.

When an account is deleted, all associated data including uploaded media, messages, and memorial spaces are permanently removed.

What will be deleted?

• Your account profile
• Your memorial spaces
• Guest uploads (photos and videos)
• Memorial messages
• Associated personal data

How to request deletion

To delete your Dearly Beloved account and all associated data, please email us from the address used to create your account:

For security reasons, deletion requests must be sent from the email address associated with your account.

Guest data

Guests do not have permanent accounts. Any media or messages shared by guests are removed when the memorial owner deletes their account or memorial space.
